MTCCNJ on the NYC Marathon Route
Description: This is an early day but I PROMISE it will be FUN! What a wonderful way to cycle the roads of NYC on Marathon Sunday. The roads will be closed to all except for the cyclists trying to get their ride on before the Marathon begins.
We will meet up with the club Marathon Escorts at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and cycle with them crossing the bridge and stopping to regroup at Atlantic Ave. & 4th Avenue (this is a HARD stop REGROUP here). After leaving the MTCCNJ Marathon Escorts (at the intersection of Atlantic & 4th Ave.), we will cycle the NYC Marathon route (26 miles) ending our ride back at The World Trade Center to catch the train to NJ.
We start our day at Newark Penn Station (train departs at 5:45am). We will take the PATH Train to the World Trade Center. The PATH train roundtrip should cost less than $6.
Once we complete the marathon route, we will stop at Caffè Lavazza located at 200 5th Ave., NYC 10010 (West 24th & 5th Ave.) near Bryant Park to get something to eat before heading back to NJ. The anticipated arrival back to the WTC is 10:30am.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.
REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.
